I came to Central California by way of San Jose, CA; by way of Lubbock, TX; by way of Welch, TX. Yeah, I'm a Texas girl, born and bred in the Heartland (Lamesa, TX, actually). Lived there for 19 years, then moved to San Jose, CA, where I lived for 20+ years before moving to the Central Valley. Took me a while to adjust back to small town living, but I think I'm just about adjusted.

I started blogging as a means to keep friends and family informed of my trip to Thailand back in 2006. It has since evolved into a means of keeping friends and family informed of my journey through life. Yeah, lame, I know, but that's why I write.
